Coming into the Harvest Season

Feb 01, 2009

Beloved Ones, you are coming into a season of "harvest" where what has been sown in the past season will be revealed.  This season will bring you into greater discernment as you see what seeds have born the fruit of "good" wheat and what seeds have grown up as tares.

The tares look like the wheat when they are growing up together, but unlike wheat, tares are not fruit-bearing...they do not have seed.  This is both bad news and good news. The bad news is that much of your "field" has been wasted and not bearing good Kingdom fruit.  The good news is that these tares will not have power to reproduce in your life as you yield them to my Holy Spirit who will separate them out, gather them into bundles, and burn them with My purifying fire.  The good, fruit-bearing wheat will be gathered into My storehouse with great rejoicing.

The lesson to be learned here is that while you were intentional to sow good seed, the tares were sown by the enemy while you slept.  Applying this lesson will cause you to awaken out of your spiritual slumber and be diligently watchful so that future seasons will increase the fruits of your righteousness.  I will continue to supply you with good seed, which will liberally enrich you in everything, causing thanksgiving through you to God.
