Welcome to M*A*S*H

May 19, 2008

DId you ever see that TV show M*A*S*H? Under desperate, war-torn conditions in Korea, our country placed medical staff near the front lines in temporary facilities to deal with the triage, injuries and casulaties among our U.S. soldiers. They were in tents so they could be mobile. They did the best with what they had. They were not completely perfect, but equipped enough to deal with the trauma. They had it hard, and still enjoyed laughter.

I think the reality of a healthy church worshipping God is one that can take in those that have been wounded, even by "friendly fire." We have a mission from our Commander in Chief. We want to be an obedient church that reaches up to God in passionate worship; that reaches in to each other in devoted service; and reaches out to the world in sacrificial love.

We focus together on the goal which is to become mature followers of Jesus. We will experience personal restoration, community support and a purpose that will run deep and give us something to live for.

And along the way, we'll enjoy laughter and good times. Come as you are to meet this Jesus.
