Greetings!

Our first Adopt A Block outing went amazingly well. We are beginning to establish relationships that are already opening up other opportunities in the community.

We are hearing of an area down the street that is plagued with prostitution. I have an incredible longing to minister in this area. For six years I lived in the inner city establishing friendships with prostitutes and seeing some of them repent and surrender their lives to Jesus.

Please pray that God will open that door of ministry for Grace Vineyard.

Also, every time I drive to church I pass that strip bar on Randol Mill and 360.  How can we get in there?? I picture it as a mountain to be conquered in the battle for the Lord - a big mountain! Reminds me of Iwo Jima.

I encourage all of you, as you drive by that bar, to lift up a prayer for that place and the people in it.

We are going out to the Silver Bells Apartment complex again this Saturday. Please join us. We especially need Spanish speakers. My stammering Spanish was more comedy than ministry.
