A new door opened for us a couple weeks ago. We met a man named Mike who used to attend the Vineyard in
Mike told me, "God rewrote my life through the Vineyard."
First, God brought Mike to the Vineyard. Then, when he stopped attending church, God brought the Vineyard to Mike!
Mike has been coming to church every week since we met. He has participated in the Prophetic Prayer Meeting, and he is going to the Discovery Classes with Pastor Bob. :-)
Plus!! His employeer mentioned giving him Saturday nights off, and Mike didn't even ask.
Please greet Mike with love when you see him at church. (He has dark hair and wears yellow-tinted glasses.)
It's amazing to see God raising up His own people in our AAB apartment complex. Nana (Paul) has offered to bring another resident named Ed to church.
We love Ed. He has been caring for his grandchildren while suffering with lung cancer. He is heavy on the heart of Joan Blinn. Ed believes her prayers have significantly improved his health. Joan also gave him some Scripture healing cards that he reads with his grandson. Ed said the cards give him hope.
Thank you for the outpouring of support and volunteers to join us one Saturday this year. We meet in the GVCF parking lot at 10:30am. We are home by noon :-)
Each of you have special gifts and personalities. You never know which person on the block you will connect with.
Last week, Paul Jones joined us. Paul was able to minister kindness to a man who would barely talk to anyone else. Hooray!
